    • Thanks, Nandini. It was both peaceful and busy, as Windermere is a popular tourist town attracting a lot of visitors no matter the time of year. We were there at the end of the afternoon, so many people had satisfied themselves and gone back home. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to walk around the lake to find a quieter spot. But we still very much enjoyed our visit. :-)
